Arctic Alaska Vegetation Map

The Arctic Alaska Tundra Vegetation Map portrays the vegetation of the Arctic region of Alaska using 33 map units. The general legend and coloring scheme are the same as the Circumpolar Arctic Vegetation Map (CAVM). The CAVM units were subdivided based on ground descriptions of various tundra communities found in Alaska. These descriptions and references are found on the back of the printed map.
