Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership

Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership is a conservation partnership developing on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. This partnership is working with the National Fish Habitat Action Plan to protect, restore, and enhance our area's fish and aquatic communities. The Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership (KPFHP) was approved as a recognized Fish Habitat Partnership at a meeting of the National Fish Habitat Board on Friday January 15, 2010. KPFHP became the 15th regional fish habitat partnership in the U. S. and represents the 3rd such partnership in Alaska. These partnerships, developed concurrently with the National Fish Habitat Plan, are designed to raise awareness of fish initiatives, assign priorities, and generate annual congressional support to improve aquatic habitat.
