This is the Wainwright Community Report for Phase 1 of the Human and Chemical Ecology of Arctic Pathways by Marine Pollutants Project. The objectives of the report are to: 1) communicate human ecology research results to the Traditional Council and the community of Wainwright; 2) Share the results and follow up with the 50 members of the community of Wainwright who participated in the research process; 3) Inform policy-makers of the intricate ecological relationship between the people of Wainwright and the animal and plant wildlife that surrounds them; 4) Inform chemical ecology research, phase 2 of the project; and 5) Document human ecology data for educational use by the community of Wainwright and the Research Team.
