Effects of Roads and Climate on Water Quality and Temperature in Lentic Wetlands: Do roads facilitate amphibian malformations through poor water quality and thermal disturbance?

Collect data from lentic wetlands used as amphibian breeding habitat to determine if nearby roads cause poor water quality or thermal disturbance that facilitates amphibian malformations. Earlier study suggested that high rates of amphibian malformation observed at some sites in Alaska may be associated will metals contamination or thermal disturbance, both of which could be caused by roads and road traffic.
