Cook Inlet Basin Study Unit – Roads

nawqa_roads is a line coverage of the roads in the Cook Inlet Basin National Water-Quality Assessment (NAWQA) study unit. A statewide coverage of the road system was obtained from USGS 1:2,000,000 digital line graphs using techniques described by Domaratz and others (1982). The drainage basin boundaries of the Cook Inlet Basin, developed from 1:250,000 quadrangle maps, were used as the boundaries of this coverage.
