Anchor River Fish Count (Chinook, Coho)

The Anchor River sonar/weir site external link is located approximately 2 miles upstream from the mouth of the river at the upper boundary of the salmon fishery. The daily DIDSON sonar estimate is based on the net number of fish counted upstream (upstream count - downstream count = net count). The sustainable escapement goal range is 3,800 to 10,000 king salmon.
