How to build the augmented reality sandbox and activity lesson plans

The download includes CAD drawing for building an augmented reality sandbox and a link to a forum that will help with installation of the software. EPSCoR personnel have created educational curricula for use in conjunction with the sandbox, aimed at students in grades 6-12. The curriculum modules adapt and expand on materials created through the MapTEACH (Mapping Technology Experiences with Alaska’s Community Heritage) program, an EPSCoR partner. The modules have been reviewed by experienced geoscience educators and aligned with Next Generation Science Standards.
