Kenai Peninsula Borough – Hillshade

Multi resolution image symbolizing a 3D effect comprised of three distinct hillshades: 1) ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emmission and Reflection Radiometer) is an imaging instrument flying on Terra, a satellite launched in December 1999 as part of NASA's Earth Observing System (resolution 54 ft). 2) West is from 4 foot resolution LiDAR and comprises the western Kenai Peninsula lowlands. 3) East is from 6 foot resolution LiDAR and comprises the eastern portion of the Kenai River watershed.
